Celebratory
"There are two great days in a person's life - the day we are born and the day we discover why." (William Barclay)
Happy Birthday! Two years have passed since you were brought into this world. A lot has changed about you since then, but for the better. As time went on, you've improved yourself, and are growing up to be very successful. I'm very proud of how far you've come and look forward to many birthdays in the future. In the beginning, you were unsure of who you were and kept changing, wanting to find your niche in life. Eventually, you found what you were passionate about, and wanted a chance to show others. You may not have a solid, clear idea of who you are, but as time goes on, hopefully you'll figure out your purpose.
I know this may have be cheesy to do this, but I had to do something to celebrate two years of The Curiosity. I never thought that two years ago I would want to do anything like this - putting out my thoughts for the whole world to see. This has been completely eye opening. I have learned so much from doing this and have learned things about myself that I like and can appreciate. Without pursuing this, I never would have improved my writing skills, and never would have confidence in my writing (I still have very little, but I'm working on it).
I feel accomplished to know that this has gotten farther than I have imagined. Over three thousand people have seen my gibberish and I am proud of that. There are people all over the world reading the advice and thoughts of a sixteen year old girl. The person I was two years ago has been influenced by what I wrote here. Without this blog, I would not have become the person I am today and the person I will grow up to be. I think that the more and more I do this, the more I will discover about myself and my purpose.
We all have a purpose in life. Whether you know that now, or you haven't figured it out yet, we all do. With this creation that I put into the world, I hope to inspire people and to let others know that they have purpose.
I hope that with others reading this, they can learn a thing or two about themselves and their purpose. My only wish for The Curiosity is to help as many people find their way as possible. This crusade may not last forever, but hopefully it will be around for a long time.
So, here's to two more years of The Curiosity and many more to come.
