"Music can make things hurt less."
                      ─Tyler Joseph

There are days when I feel sad or lost.  It sucks, and can be the worst feeling in the world, sometimes.
But there are also days when I am the happiest I can ever be, and that's great.

I'm am emotional person, I would like to think, at least.  I can be a complete, blubbering mess when I watch the sad parts of my favorite shows (mostly because I've watched them a million times and know what comes next), or when I try to avoid the ASPCA commercial.

I like to show how I feel and what I am feeling because it shows strength and perserverance.  However, I do have times when I compartmentalize and push them away because I don't think they're important.  I learned that that was a bad thing.  Never push down how you're feeling because it will only come back to bite you.

Typically when I have deep emotions, I would write about them, but sometimes, it doesn't always give me the therapy I need.  I think a major factor in getting through the day is music.

I cannot go a day without listening to music, and, honestly, I couldn't try because I would probably go insane.  Come to think of it, I don't think I have gone a day without it, as far as I can remember.  My family loves music, so our house is never usually quiet.  There are days when the radio would just be blasting Classic Rock and my parents would quiz me on who the artist is.  (I'm usually wrong, but then I use Shazam to cheat. Sorry, Mom.)

I find that music can help ease whatever bad emotions that you may encounter.  I also believe that music can make someone's day better.  Whether it be bad days or good days, music is a form of therapy and can be a way to put your emotions into words, even if they aren't your own.

Music is important and gives the dark days a little bit of light.

Music helps me and inspires me.  It helps me get through the day and pumps me up if need be.  So, I want to share some songs that help me sort through my emotions, or make me get up and dance.  I have playlist of more than 10 songs, but these ones stuck out.

If you need music to help you get through the day, I recommend browsing through Spotify or any music provider and listen to the different types of music.  The songs that put a smile on your face, or strike you in the feels are probably the songs for you.  I hope that by me sharing the songs that put a smile on my face or make me cry, others will find the songs that help them and provide therapy, even if just for a little while.
