Christmas Sentiment

     

      Merry Christmas, everyone! Today, I want to express my thoughts on what Christmas means to me.
      Christmas, to, me is sentimental.  The special holiday that is reserved for gift giving, has always had a special place in my heart.
      Family.  Family is everything.  Where would we be if we did not have supporting families with us every step of the way?  Every December 25th, I remind myself that I would be nowhere if I did not have a loving, supporting family.  A family provides safety, warmth, and care.  This is one of the many reasons why I enjoy Christmas.
      Movies.  Every year, the channels on TV always play either sappy, comedic, or old Christmas movies; I, for one, love that about this holiday.  Curling up on the couch, with a blanket and hot chocolate in hand, watching Frosty the Snowman is just perfect.
      Music.  Holiday music is one of the many joys of Christmas.  It always gets me into the jolly, Christmas mood.  Whether I am listening to it, or belting out the words, I always have a festive spirit.
      Enjoy the day today, and remind yourself to always be a little jolly when you are feeling down.
